"Thanks for your note and it was my pleasure to present at the conference. A number of people followed up with me after the presentation, so I think it was some good exposure for us" - Major North American Fund Manager.
"I think the conference kept a very high quality. I was impressed with the across the board crisp presentations from the first day. Things that I valued as well was the active use of moderators, making sessions a bit interactive, introducing the speakers, and managing overall time keeping. I also think the time for networking breaks were reasonable!" - Major European Timberland Fund Manager/Investor Adviser.
"Bob: Great job organizing and executing the conference with Dennis!" - Major North American Timberland Fund Manager.

DEFERRED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Please kindly note that this one day conference and two day field trip in mid-November will need to be deferred due to organizational reasons. DANA will, later in 2014 or in 2015, determine after consultation with Myanmar authorities the best time to hold this meeting. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
DANA 1- day timberland and wood products investment conference in Yangon, Myanmar Monday 17 November, with a two day field trip on 18 and 19 November to visit forestry sites, mills, harvesting, and sawn timber export operations. Myanmar is super-rapidly emerging from many decades of political and commercial obscurity. Strategically located between the super powers of China and India, it is ideally located to produce food or wood fibre for domestic use or to export to its neighbours. There are now regular announcements about foreign direct investment expansion, including into wood products. By November, the impact of the April 2014 ban on log exports from Myanmar (the home of, and the largest exporter globally, of teak) will have been identified. Several foreign owners have recently been given licences to build wood processing facilities in Myanmar; and we expect major areas of land suitable for tree plantation projects to open up shortly for commercial plantation investment.
